Abstract

Behaviorist learning theory is a learning approach that emphasizes changes in

student behavior as a result of stimulus and response. The learning process is

understood as a change in ability that is evident in real behavior through the

interaction between given stimuli and the resulting responses. Student behavior is

influenced by environmental factors and learning experiences acquired repeatedly

through practice, habituation, and reinforcement. In its application, this theory

focuses on learning outcomes that can be observed, measured, and assessed

objectively. Learning is designed by providing certain stimuli so that students

produce responses that are in accordance with learning objectives. Thus,

behaviorist learning theory plays a role in shaping student behavior in a more

positive and directed direction in the learning process.
