Main Article Content
Abstract
This study is a systematic observation aimed at highlighting mindfulness programs implemented at various levels of education and their impact on stress levels, academic achievement, and social relationships of adolescent students. Mindfulness is defined as the ability to stay focused on the present moment without making judgments, which can help students cope with academic pressure, social dynamics, and emotional challenges. A total of 19 relevant studies were analyzed based on their research design, participant characteristics, intervention details, and outcomes. The results of the analysis showed that mindfulness programs such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), were significantly able to reduce stress levels, increase emotional regulation abilities, and improve students' social relationships. These findings emphasize the importance of embedding mindfulness into the secondary education system to support student well-being. However, further research is needed to understand the long-term impact of these programs on academic achievement and other social aspects.
