Abstract

In today's era, teenagers are faced with a series of problems experienced by students in very diverse schools. One of them is a lack of self-confidence. Self-confidence is a positive attitude of an individual that enables him to develop a positive assessment both of himself and of the environment or situation he faces. The problem of low self-confidence can be overcome by utilizing film media but which focuses on the problems experienced by these students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of educational cinema to increase students' self-confidence at SMK MUHAMADIYAH 1 KEDIRI. Educational cinema is a modern technique used both individually and in groups by leading to the use of film as a support for the educational process and individual self-development. The purpose of educational cinema is as a means of entertainment, education and reinforcement obtained from the results of the social learning process
