Peluang Peer Konseling Berfokus Solusi untuk Meningkatkan Perilaku Disiplin Siswa
Main Article Content
Abstract
Solution-focused peer counseling is a counseling approach that utilizes peers as facilitators to help students deal with problems by using a brief solution-focused counseling approach that prioritizes finding solutions rather than focusing on problems, emphasizing the individual's ability to find and develop their own solutions, including improving disciplined behavior. Disciplined behavior in Vocational High Schools (SMK) plays an important role in creating a conducive learning environment and preparing students for the world of work. Discipline involves compliance with rules, self-control, and responsibility. This approach refers to the principle of solution-focused brief counseling, which emphasizes finding solutions rather than analyzing problems. With peer support, students feel more comfortable sharing problems and can find concrete steps to improve their behavior. In addition, this approach also helps students develop better social skills and interpersonal relationships. Solution-centered peer counseling is not only effective in improving student discipline, but also strengthening relationships between students and creating a productive learning environment.
