Abstract
The boy's love genre is a genre where it shows or tells a romantic story between the same sex (male). Not only in love stories, this genre usually tells how the struggle of Seme's love against Uke in getting his love back is interspersed with several dramas such as kinship, Yaoi, power and a love triangle. Some even embed the cultivation or supernatural genre, making one of the boy's love genres attractive to fujoshi circles. Fujoshi are people or women who like anything related to boy's love. While for men it is called fudanshi.
