Dampak Kecanduan Game Online Bagi Siswa

Abstract

The rapid development of technology brings changes and influences on the human mind. Human creativity is growing, thus encouraging people to create new inventions and ideas in technology that can improve human welfare. One example of technological developments produced by humans is online games. But in reality these games actually make individuals addicted which of course has a bad impact on individual behavior. One of the effects of online game addiction is that it can cause students to become lazy to study. From the results of the study it was found that the factors that cause online games to be preferred are that online games are more interesting than lessons at school, the effect on adolescent achievement is a decrease in adolescent learning achievement, and how to deal with online game addiction, namely parental education is needed, especially in learning problems, teenagers are more emphasized to learn than to play online games, giving motivation to learn for teenagers.
