Abstract

This study aims to describe how the dynamics of emotional fatigue in students in working on their thesis. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study was 8th semester students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, PGRI Madiun University, with a total sample of 56 people. The procedure in the study was carried out through three stages, namely the pre-preparation stage, the activity implementation stage and the final stage. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study refers to the Miles & Huberman analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results show that the dynamics of emotional exhaustion that occurs in students are centered on physical, emotional and mental exhaustion. However, in this struggle, students have a high commitment to complete the thesis.
