“Punakawan” is the guardian for the knights in Javanese “Wayang” who is tasked with protecting the knights. While the counselor is tasked with helping the counselee or students in order to achieve optimal development. “Punakawan” and counselors have many similarities so that the traits and values in clowns can be learned and imitated by counselors.
