Analisis Kebutuhan Sumber Belajar Tambahan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi pada Mata Kuliah Struktur Dan Perkembangan Tumbuhan

Students have many and various learning resources. In the Plant
Structure and Development course, especially in the topic of root
and stem anatomical structure, several learning resources with
more attractive pictures and simple, clear explanations are needed.
One learning resource that provides clear pictures and explanations
is an e-booklet. This study aims to identify the need for learning
resources and teaching materials in the Plant Structure and
Development course of the Biology Education Study Program at
Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri, particularly for the topic of root
and stem anatomical structure. The method used in this study was
descriptive qualitative, with observations carried out using a
Google Form questionnaire distributed to respondents through a
WhatsApp group, then analyzed using descriptive statistics. This
research was conducted in November 2025. The respondents were
two lecturers of the SPT course and 30 Biology Education students
at Universitas Nusantara PGRI who had already taken the SPT
course. The results of this study are divided into two parts. First, the
answers from the two SPT lecturers showed that preserved
specimens and an e-booklet of the anatomical structure of roots
and stems of local plants are needed as additional learning
resources for students. Second, the results of the student
questionnaire showed that more than 50% of the students mostly
needed additional learning resources in the form of preserved
specimens and an e-booklet on the root and stem structure of local
plants.
