Penggunaan Media Audio Visual Terhadap Kesadaran Bahaya Merokok Pada Siswa SMA

Abstract

Smoking behavior among school children in Indonesia has begun to be seen in junior high school children and senior high school students. Many students, especially boys, smoke outside of school during breaks and free periods. Adolescents who are students are not allowed to smoke in school circles, in the community or in other circles. Smoking at an early age is caused by low self-awareness about the dangers and impacts that will come. This study aims to see if there is an effect of Audio Visual Media to Increase Awareness of the Dangers of Smoking in Students. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with a Pre-experiment approach and a one group pretest-posttest research design.  The sample in the study were male students totaling 14 students. Based on the results of this study, that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of audio visual media in increasing awareness of the dangers of smoking in students.
