Abstract

this article aim to share is social media more attractive for ELT student to learn speaking skill. It is related with ELT students they are expected to communicate fluently in English. Meanwhile ELT students nowadays lack their confident in speaking English. Social media as media to learn speaking is easy to use and accessible, kind of social media is WhatsApp, YouTube and Vlog. The role of social media in speaking skill is play a big role. Social media as media to learn speaking is easy to use and accessible. As a result social media student can improve their speaking skill and other English component like pronunciation, vocabulary, grammatical, lexical and fluency. Social media make student more confident and can express their creativeness.
