Clinical practice is an essential part of nursing education that allows students to apply knowledge and skills in real-world healthcare settings. However, this process often triggers anxiety, which may affect students’ learning ability and clinical performance. This study aimed to determine the level of anxiety among nursing students at the Nursing Program of Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri during clinical practice in hospitals. This research used a descriptive design with a quantitative approach. The sample was selected using total sampling, involving all 44 fourth-semester students. Data were collected using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The results showed that most students experienced mild anxiety (73%), while 20% had moderate anxiety and 7% experienced severe anxiety. These findings indicate that although the majority of students experienced mild anxiety, a portion still experienced moderate to severe anxiety. Therefore, psychological support and proper guidance—especially in performing nursing procedures and documenting nursing care—are needed to help students manage anxiety during clinical practice.
