Analisis Kebutuhan Media Pembelajaran Bridge Cards Pada Siswa Kelas 5 Mata Pelajaran IPS

Abstract

Social Sciences (IPS) is one of the subjects starting from elementary school. In the future students will face many challenges because the life of the global community will always experience changes at any time. Due to the absence of learning media that supports the teaching and learning process, the teacher only uses books in the learning process, especially in social studies learning. This will worsen students' understanding of social studies lessons and have an impact on their declining grades. This study aims to analyze the needs of learning media needed by students and teachers in studying material related to ASEAN countries. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and interviews. This research was conducted at SDN NGADILUWIH 2 by distributing questionnaires to 21 grade 5 students and conducting interviews with grade 5 teachers. The results of this study showed that 90% of the students were enthusiastic when learning media were made, so it can be concluded that students and teachers need learning media.
