Kearifan Lokal Larung Sembonyo untuk Meningkatkan Karakter Siswa Agar Lebih Memotivasi dalam Belajar

Abstract

Larung Sembonyo is a traditional ceremony of local wisdom in the coastal areas of Prigi and its surroundings which has a special purpose as a thanksgiving for the results of fishermen. Larung Sembonyo can be used as a benchmark for character in students so that they are more able to accept, be grateful for what they have earned and not complain and can also improve student character even better and it is hoped that based on this local wisdom students can understand the meaning of the Sembonyo larung. Larung Sembonyo can increase students' motivation in learning and learning outcomes. Strong and weak one's motivation is certainly different. This is influenced by several factors, such as the condition of students, environmental conditions and the teacher's efforts to use learning methods.
