Family is the primary foundation in shaping students’ character and academic achievement. However, students from broken home families often experience decreased learning motivation and lower learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the impact of broken home conditions on students’ PKN learning outcomes and the role of Guidance Counseling (BK) teachers in addressing these challenges. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Bengkulu from March to May 2025. The participants included two grade XI students from broken home families, one BK teacher, and one PKN teacher. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that broken home conditions negatively affect students’ motivation, concentration, and academic performance in PKN. BK teachers play an active role through personal guidance, motivational support, and collaboration with homeroom teachers to help students achieve better learning outcomes.
