Abstract

The use of learning media is very important. However, there are still teachers who do not use learning media when teaching. This results in low student learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using KASUAL learning media (Visual Alphabet Cards) on vowel and consonant sound symbol material to improve student learning outcomes. This research uses R&D (Research and Development) research with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this research were class I students at SDN Blimbing 2, totaling 25 students. The data collection technique uses test questions. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the results of students' classical learning completeness from the post test (evaluation) scores after using the KASUAL learning media (Visual Alphabet Cards) obtained a percentage score of 84% of students getting a score of

≥75. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the KASUAL learning media (Visual Alphabet Cards) in material on vowel and consonant sound symbols is very effective in improving student learning outcomes on material on vowel and consonant sound symbols.
