Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations of learning activities in class 5 of Tulungrejo State Elementary School, Bojonegoro, that in the learning process there was no media used by the teacher, the teacher only used textbooks from the Ministry of Education and Culture, so that students only used one teaching material. The aim of this research and development is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on ecosystem and food web materials. The type of research used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of this research are (1) SAC interactive multimedia was declared very valid because it obtained recapitulation results of validation of media, materials and learning tools, obtained a recapitulation of assessment scores of 86,75%., (2) SAC-based interactive multimedia was declared very practical because it obtained a recapitulation of teacher response results, and student response was 90,5%., (3) SAC-based interactive multimedia was declared very effective because it obtained limited and extensive trial results with a classical learning completion percentage of 100%. Thus, SAC-based interactive multimedia is declared to be very valid, practical and effective.
