Eksistensi Seni Tari Mung Dhe dan Pengaruhnya Bagi Masyarakat di Desa. Garu, Kec. Baron, Kab. Nganjuk Tahun 1982-2009

Abstract

Mung Dhe Dance is an art that breathes heroism, which comes from Garu Village, kec. Baron. Regency. Nganjuk was created by Diponegoro soldiers as a form of disguise to observe allies in the Nganjuk district, so that it became a sin and teaching material for local content in Nganjuk District after experiencing various developments. The purpose of this study is 1) to identify the background and chronology of the birth of Mung Dhe Dance 2) to examine the historical value contained in Mung Dhe Dance 3) to find out the developments that occurred in the art of Mung Dhe Dance in 1982-2009. The research methods used are (1) searching for data sources through field observations and digital literacy (heuristics); (2) testing data sources (criticism); (3) interpreting the facts that have been obtained (interpretation); (4) the process of writing reports. (historiography). The results show that (1) the background of the emergence of the Mung Dhe dance, which was brought by Diponegoro soldiers in the Diponegoro war of 1825-1830 from Central Java to the Nganjuk Regency area due to defeat (2) the historical values ​​contained such as the values ​​of patriotism, nationalism, and struggle (3) the development of the Mung Dhe Dance in 1982 began to live again until in 2009 it became a teaching material for local content in schools located in Nganjuk Regency.
