Abstract

In today's modern life, stress has become a major problem, especially in Generation Z who were born between 1995 and 2010. This generation is more susceptible to stress due to technology addiction, lack of social skills and uncertainty about the future. Based on a survey by the Ministry of Health in 2023, The prevalence of depression in Generation Z is the highest, reaching 2%. Stress can have a negative impact on physical and psychological aspects, such as anxiety, depression and decreased self-confidence. Relaxation methods such as Rain therapy are proven effective in managing stress. Rain therapy utilizes the sound of rain which is part of white noise, to create a calming environment and reduce stress. This method is easy to access and can be a relevant solution for Generation Z who are known as digital natives or are accustomed to using digital technology in various activities This article aims to explore the effectiveness of rain therapy in reducing stress and its benefits in improving the mental well-being of Generation Z.
