Abstract
The aims of the research was to examine local wisdom-based disaster mitigation learning as an innovation in building school resilience. In this research, the research method used library research methods. The results of this study were local wisdom-based disaster mitigation learning, namely learning based on local wisdom values to reduce vulnerability in a school and increase preparedness in that group, as well as building resilience in a school. Disaster mitigation learning based on local wisdom can be implemented by identifying local wisdom in disaster mitigation and then integrating it into learning. This local wisdom can be in the form of idioms, symbols and songs that are found in an area prone to disasters and then vigilance is instilled in the surrounding community so that it can be anticipated early.
