Penerapan Terapi Senam Dance Sebagai Upaya Self Healing Untuk Mengurangi Tingkat Stres Pada Remaja Dikarangtaruna Cipta Karsa Didesa Banjaran

Adolescents are a vulnerable population prone to stress due to various biological, social, and academic pressures. Based on pre-test results, 42.86% of 14 adolescents from Karangtaruna Cipta Karsa in Banjaran Village experienced mild stress, while 57.14% experienced severe stress. This community service initiative aimed to reduce stress levels through the implementation of dance exercise therapy as a form of self-healing. The program included educational sessions and direct practice of enjoyable and easy-to-follow dance routines. Evaluation was conducted by comparing pre-test and post-test results. Post-test findings indicated that 35.71% of participants experienced mild stress and 14.29% experienced moderate stress, demonstrating a significant decrease in stress levels. Furthermore, improvements were observed in mood, emotional stability, and physical well-being. The program also holds potential for sustainable empowerment through the establishment of regular dance exercise groups. Dance exercise therapy has proven to be an effective and practical approach in promoting and preventing stress among adolescents.
