Desain Tata Ruang Inovatif Base Farm Kelurahan Burengan, Kediri : Menggabungkan Edukasi dan Rekreasi Untuk Menarik Wisatawan

Abstrak : Base Farm KWT Bangun Sejahtera di Kelurahan Burengan adalah kawasan pertanian organik yang dikembangkan sebagai eduwisata untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pertanian berkelanjutan. Namun, Base Farm menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan lahan yang mempengaruhi hasil panen dan kurangnya promosi yang mengakibatkan rendahnya tingkat kunjungan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi peran desain tata ruang inovatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa desain tata ruang yang baik dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, terutama untuk anak-anak sekolah. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, disarankan menambah program edukasi seperti kelas memasak berbasis bahan organik dan kegiatan kreatif pertanian. Kolaborasi dengan sekolah serta institusi terkait juga penting untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program ini, sehingga Base Farm dapat menjadi model eduwisata agro yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dan pendidikan generasi muda.
Abstract : Base Farm of KWT Bangun Sejahtera in Burengan Village is an organic farming area developed as an eco-tourism to increase public awareness about sustainable agriculture. However, the Base Farm faces several challenges, such as limited land which affects crop yields and lack of promotion resulting in low visitation rates. To address these issues, this service uses a qualitative approach with observations, interviews, and descriptive analysis to explore the role of innovative spatial design. The results show that good spatial design can create an interactive and fun learning environment, especially for school children. For further development, it is recommended to add educational programs such as organic ingredient-based cooking classes and creative agricultural activities. Collaboration with schools and related institutions is also important to support the sustainability of this program, so that Base Farm can become a model of agro-tourism that benefits the community and the education of the younger generation.
