RANCANG BANGUN NATURAL USER INTERFACE BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY DALAM BERMAIN PUZZLE VIRTUAL

Ide awal penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan interaksi manusia dengan komputer secara alami dalam bermain puzzle virtual. Puzzle virtual merupakan kategori permainan puzzle yang menggunakan bantuan komputer dalam menyusun dan menampilkan hasilnya sehingga pengguna akan mendapatkan pengalaman konten yang lebih kaya. Namun dalam bermain puzzle virtual, pengguna cenderung tidak berinteraksi secara alami dengan potongan puzzle. Pengguna harus menggunakan peripheral input seperti mouse atau keyboard untuk menyusun puzzle. Dalam penelitian ini akan memanfaatkan teknologi Augmented Reality untuk membangun Natural User Interface dalam bermain puzzle virtual. Pada dasarnya Augmented Reality merupakan teknologi yang dapat menambahkan objek virtual dalam lingkungan fisik. Namun dalam pemanfaatannya, Augmented Reality juga dapat digunakan untuk memanipulasi objek virtual yang ada dalam komputer menggunakan benda asli yang ada dalam lingkungan pengguna sebagai perangkat interaksi. Sehingga dalam kasus bermain puzzle virtual, pengguna dapat berinteraksi dengan potongan fisik puzzle secara langsung dan sekaligus juga mendapatkan pengalaman konten yang lebih kaya.
