NILAI – NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL SUKU ANAK DALAM (SAD) DALAM PEMANFAATAN HEWAN DIBUKIT DUA BELAS PROVINSI JAMBI

Abstract

The Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community maintains a strong interaction with animals due to their hunting tradition. The purpose of this study is to reveal the knowledge of animal species diversity utilized by the community for their daily lives. The research was conducted in Lantak Seribu Village, Renah Pamenang District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. The method involved classifying animals used as food sources and classifying the tools employed in hunting activities. The study adopted a descriptive method combined with Ethnography, which included interviews and data collection through video surveys, articles, and interviews with a descendant of the Suku Anak Dalam, using three developmental procedures: Ethnography, Narrative Research, and Research & Development (R&D). The objective of this research is to understand how the Suku Anak Dalam utilize animals and nature as Ethnozoology to extract local wisdom values regarding animal utilization efforts in Bukit Dua Belas National Park.
