Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of school counselor in implementing the BK program at SMPN 1 Porong. Guidance and counseling helps individuals discover and develop the potential, both educational, vocational and psychological of students to achieve optimal levels of personal happiness and social usefulness. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research indicate that the school counselor at SMPN 1 Porong have played an active role in implementing the guidance and counseling program.
