Analisis Perhatian Orang Tua Dan Rasa Percaya Diri Siswa Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa SMK PGRI Kediri

This research is motivated by the low learning motivation among students at SMK
PGRI 4 Kediri, as evidenced by the decline in the number of high-achieving
students in the 2023/2024 academic year. This issue has been identified as
resulting from internal factors such as a lack of parental attention and student selfconfidence, as well as external factors like insufficient support from the surrounding
environment. Existing efforts, such as classical guidance services, have proven
ineffective in enhancing motivation due to the lack of group dynamics. This study
aims to evaluate the relationships between parental attention, student selfconfidence, and learning motivation. Using a quantitative approach, a sample of 17
students was selected through purposive sampling and analyzed statistically. The
results include hypothesis testing with Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, where
each significance value (sign.) was greater than 0.05, indicating that the pretest
data for parental attention, self-confidence, and learning motivation follow a
"normal" distribution. Additionally, linearity testing using SPSS showed that the
deviation from linearity significance value was 0.203 > 0.05, confirming a linear
relationship between the variables. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a
significant linear relationship between parental attention (X1) and student selfconfidence (X2) with learning motivation (Y).
