The Influence of Digital Lifestyle, Fear of Missing Out, and Discount Promotions on Personal Financial Management (Study at ITEBIS PGRI Dewantara Jombang Students Using the Qpon Application)

Research Aim : To analyze the influence of digital lifestyle, fear of missing out, and discount promotions on the personal financial management of students who use the Qpon application.
Design/Methode/Approach : A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed, utilizing a questionnaire survey administered to 93 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 24.
Research Finding : Digital lifestyle has a negative and significant effect; fear of missing out has no significant effect; and discount promotions have a significant effect on personal financial management.
Theoretical contribution/Originality: This study extends the literature on students’ financial behavior in the digital era, with a specific focus on the use of the local promotional application Qpon.
Practitionel/Policy implication : This study provides valuable insights for students, application developers, and policymakers in improving digital financial literacy.
Research limitation: This study employs a single sample from one institution and includes only three independent variables; therefore, the generalizability of the findings remains limited.
