Analisis Potensi Pendekatan Game-Based Learning dalam Pengembangan Gim Edukasi Sejarah Dunia

Pembelajaran sejarah di era digital menghadapi tantangan kompleks karena sering dianggap monoton, sekadar mengandalkan hafalan, sehingga memicu rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Game-Based Learning (GBL) pada mata pelajaran sejarah dunia sebagai inovasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) dengan menerapkan model instruksional ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media GBL mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, aktif, dan interaktif melalui eksplorasi lingkungan virtual. Dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional, pembelajaran berbasis GBL terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan minat, pemahaman konsep, serta hasil belajar sejarah siswa. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan Game-Based Learning efektif menjadi solusi inovatif untuk membangun kesadaran historis generasi muda di era digital. ADDIE, Game-Based Learning, Sejarah Dunia
