Analisis Pengaruh Gas Oksigen dan Nitrogen Terhadap Kekasaran Permukaan Hasil Pemotongan Laser Cutting CNC

Pengaruh jenis gas asistensi dan ketebalan material terhadap kekasaran permukaan (Ra) pada proses pemotongan menggunakan mesin laser CNC. Gas asistensi yang digunakan adalah oksigen (O₂) dan nitrogen (N₂), sedangkan ketebalan material yang diuji yaitu 1 mm, 3 mm, dan 4 mm. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 × 3 dan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA One Way serta ANOVA Two Way. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketebalan material berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai Ra, di mana semakin tebal material maka kekasaran permukaan cenderung meningkat. Jenis gas asistensi juga memengaruhi kualitas permukaan, dengan nitrogen (N₂) menghasilkan permukaan yang lebih halus dibandingkan oksigen (O₂). Selain itu, terdapat interaksi antara jenis gas dan ketebalan material terhadap nilai Ra, sehingga pemilihan kombinasi parameter yang tepat sangat penting untuk memperoleh kualitas pemotongan yang optimal.
