Analisis Peningkatan Efektivitas Transportasi Umum (Transjakarta)

Abstract

This article discusses the Increased Effectiveness of Public Transportation (Transjakarta). The purpose of this article is to find out in terms of the effectiveness of Transjakarta as one of the public transportation programs. This article is motivated by transportation problems in urban areas caused by the volume of vehicles on urban roads increasing so that Transjakarta is a solution to reduce congestion, but Transjakarta still cannot be said to be effective because there are still many complaints from its users. This research comes from data sources in the form of interviews and official websites that describe the increasing effectiveness of transportation, especially Transjakarta buses. The results of the study suggest that the government should provide facilities that can increase pleasant and comfortable feelings/moods for passengers who are waiting for Transjakarta buses, additional services that support passenger activities while waiting, and additional facilities and infrastructure for feeder stops.
