Abstract

This research is research on science as a source of value-free knowledge. The purpose of writing this article is to find out how science is a value-free source of knowledge. The results of the literature review are its suitability with existing reality or facts and its suitability with subjective human reason. This shows that the truth of knowledge in the Western perspective is relative, because knowledge will develop continuously and old knowledge will be aborted by new knowledge. Therefore, science can be said as something that is free of value but still needs to adhere to the truth and implications and exploration of knowledge.
