Rancang Bangun Pisau Pemotong Dan Penghancur Model Gerigi Pada Mesin Chopper Universal Kapasitas 60 Kg/Menit

Mesin chopper universal adalah mesin yang digunakan untuk mencacah limbah pertanian berupa tebon jagung, momol tebu dan lain-lain. Mesin chopper dibuat untuk membantu peternak sapi membuat pakan fermentasi dari bahan sisa pertanian. Dalam perancangan mesin ini, ada satu bagian yang fungsi utamnya adalah untuk memotong atau mencacah bahan yaitu pisau pemotong dan pencacah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang mata pisau mesin chopper universal. Berdasarkan hasil rancangan, pisau dibuat menggunakan material baja AISI 1905 dengan jumlah 4 mata pisau pemotong, 14 pisau penghancur model hammer mill dan 4 pisau model gerigi dengan 2 bagian pisau . Pisau pemotong memiliki ukuran panjang 120 mm lebar15 mm dan tinggi 60 mm. Pisau penghancur memiliki panjang 149, 26 mm lebar 3 mm dan tinggi 15,02 mm. Pisau bergerigi memiliki diameter 300 mm. Dengan ukuran tersebut mampu mencacah bahan dengan rata.
