Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pustaka insightface sebagai alat presensi berbasis pengenalan wajah dan solusi terhadap kelemahan sistem presensi manual di SMP Negeri 2 Tarokan. InsightFace dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mendeteksi dan mengenali wajah secara akurat dan efisien. Data dikumpulkan dari enam siswa melalui perekaman video dan pengambilan foto wajah, kemudian diproses menggunakan OpenCV dan InsightFace untuk ekstraksi dan pelabelan citra wajah. Model pengenalan wajah dibangun menggunakan fitur embedding dari citra referensi, dan dievaluasi menggunakan data uji yang belum pernah dilatih. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score, yang menunjukkan performa sistem cukup tinggi dengan akurasi mencapai 86,67%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pustaka InsightFace efektif dalam mendukung sistem presensi berbasis wajah dan berpotensi diterapkan lebih luas di lingkungan pendidikan maupun instansi lain.
