Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui User Requirement dan ketersediaan Fitur Utilities LMS (Learning Management System) pada proses bisnis pelatihan masyarakat pedesaan. Pelatihan masyarakat pedesaan merupakan pelatihan yang melibatkan peserta pelatihan dari wilayah administratif penduduk desa yang beraktivitas sebagai pegiat pemberdayaan desa dan memiliki keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan teknologi digital. Perbedaan karakteristik pada proses bisnis pembelajaran dan mempertimbangkan karakteristik pengguna dengan keterbatasan pengetahuan teknologi digital maka hal tersebut menjadi penentu dalam pemilihan dan pengembangan LMS yang tepat untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survey dengan wawancara dan studi literatur. Penelusuran proses bisnis pelatihan dan pengidentifikasian kebutuhan pengguna (user requirement) didasarkan pada teori UCD (User Centered Design). Sedangkan penelusuran Fitur Utilities dilakukan dengan studi literature pada penelitian hasil evaluasi komparasi LMS yang dilakukan sebelumnya. Hasil identifikasi user requirement dan Fitur Utilities dapat diambil irisan antara keduanya sehingga hal tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa platform LMS Moodle sangat memungknkan untuk digunakan.
