Perancangan Sistem Transmisi Pada Mesin-Mesin Pembuat Tempe Kapasitas 30 kg

Pembuatan tempe di Kabupaten Jombang masih menggunakan cara manual sehingga perlu dirancang mesin-mesin pembuat tempe yaitu mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai, mesin pengering kedelai, dan mesin peragian kedelai. Sistem transmisi mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai dirancang menggunakan puli motor diameter 63 mm, puli penggerak 150 mm, sabuk-V tipe A41, dan poros berdiameter 25 mm panjang 500 mm. Sistem transmisi mesin pengering kedelai menggunakan puli motor berdiameter 79.2 mm, puli penggerak 198 mm, sabuk-V tipe A32, dan poros berdiameter 20 mm panjang 613.4 mm. Sedangkan mesin peragian menggunakan puli motor berdiameter 80 mm, puli penggerak 240 mm, sabuk-V tipe A30 dan A40, poros berdiameter 30 mm panjang 700 mm, serta gearbox rasio 1:50. Dari hasil uji coba didapatkan waktu proses 30 kg/14 menit mulai dari pengupasan, pengeringan, dan peragian. Hasil pemrosesan dinilai memenuhi persyaratan pembuatan tempe dengan lebih efektif dan efisien dibandingkan cara-cara manual.
