RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PT. KAI UNIT SINTELIS 8.5 SURABAYA GUBENG

Perawatan peralatan persinyalan meliputi wesel, palang pintu perlintasan kereta api dan toka di PT. KERETA API INDONESIA DAOP 8 SURABAYA dilakukan oleh Divisi SINTELIS 8.5 SURABAYA GUBENG. Divisi SINTELIS bertanggung jawab sebagai kontrol dan koordinasi kegiatan perawatan baik bersifat pencegahan maupun perbaikan. Sistem pencatatan, penjadwalan dan penyimpanan data maintenance masih dilakukan secara manual yaitu dicatat pada buku dan kertas. Hal ini menimbulkan ketidak efisienan waktu, kehilangan dokumen, kesulitan dalam pencarian data lampau dan pembuatan laporan. Rancang bangun sistem informasi preventive maintenance dilakukan menggunakan metode waterfall. Teknik perancangan sistem informasi berupa document flowchart, system flowchart, context diagram, DFD (Data Flow Diagram), CDM (Conceptual Data Model), dan PDM (Physical Data Model). Tahap implementasi menggunakan Visual Basic 2008 dan database MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa sistem informasi yang menyediakan fasilitas untuk membuat laporan sesuai kebutuhan Divisi SINTELIS, diantaranya laporan pegawai, laporan peralatan, laporan NPK, laporan suku cadang, laporan PKPTB, dan notifikasi jika ada perawatan yang belum terlaksana.
