Tahu bulat merupakan salah satu makanan khas kota Tasikmalaya yang cukup popular. Tahu bulat diolah dengan cara digoreng sehingga rasanya tampil gurih dan sangat lezat. Salah satu UMKM dalam membutuhkan inovasi dalam memproduksi tahu bulat Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah Gudange Tahu Takwa (GTT) yang berada di Desa Toyoresmi,Kec.Ngasem. Dimana dalam proses produksi tahu bulat terbilang masih sederhana dan perlu penambahan inovasi alat, proses produksi ditempat ini masih mengandalkan tenaga manusia dan memerlukan bantuan sendok makan untuk membuat bulatan-bulatan tahu. Oleh karena itu melihat kendala yang dialami UMKM khususnya dalam pembuatan tahu bulat dibutuhkan perancangan alat Rancang Bangun Alat Pembuat Tahu Bulat Dengan Sistem Ulir untuk Industri Rumahan Kapasitas 250 butir/menit. Hasil dari perancangan ini akan mempermudah dan memperingankan pekerjaan pelaku usaha tahu bulat dalam proses pembuatan agar dapat hasil yang maksimal efektif dan efisien. Dari hasil penelitian alat ini menggunakan kecepatan 241 rpm untuk membuat 250 butir tahu bulat , 1butir tahu bulat memiliki berat 14gram maka proses pembuatan tahu dalam waktu 1 menit menghasilkan 250 butir membutuhkan 3,5Kg
