Abstract— Feed is the largest component of livestock production costs, therefore technology capable of increasing the efficiency of the feed production process is needed. This study aims to analyze pellet production using a combination of a chopper, mixer, and pellet press using a mixture of pineapple stems, pineapple leaves, and concentrate as raw materials. The research focuses on the influence of the machine's operational parameters, namely the molding pressure and the resulting shredded size, on the physical quality of the resulting pellets. The method used is a quantitative experiment by testing several combinations of operational parameters. Pellet quality is evaluated based on density, hardness, and the level of pellet integrity. Test data are analyzed descriptively and statistically to determine the most optimal operational parameters. The results of this study are expected to improve machine work efficiency, produce high-quality pellets, reduce the risk of congestion, and serve as a reference in the development of more economical and sustainable animal feed technology.
