Performa Magnetic Separator Tipe Portabel dengan Variasi Sudut dan Kecepatan Putar Magnet

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa magnetic separator tipe portabel dengan variasi sudut kemiringan dan kecepatan putar magnet terhadap hasil pemisahan material. Metode yang digunakan adalah Design of Experiments (DoE) dengan rancangan faktorial penuh dua faktor tiga level (3²), yaitu variasi sudut kemiringan (19°, 29°, dan 39°) dan kecepatan putar magnet (200, 400, dan 600 rpm). Data hasil pengujian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis varians (ANOVA) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Minitab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang diperoleh memiliki tingkat kecocokan yang sangat baik dengan nilai R² sebesar 96,00%. Faktor sudut kemiringan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil pemisahan, sedangkan kecepatan putar magnet secara mandiri tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Namun, interaksi antara sudut dan kecepatan putar menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa efek kecepatan putar bergantung pada besarnya sudut yang digunakan. Kondisi optimum diperoleh pada kombinasi kecepatan putar 200 rpm dan sudut kemiringan 39°, dengan hasil pemisahan maksimum sebesar 9,034 gram.
