Efisiensi Line Balancing Menggunakan Framework Precedence Matrix (FPM)

Keseimbangan lini merupakan aspek penting dalam sistem produksi untuk mendistribusikan beban kerja secara merata antarstasiun kerja sehingga efisiensi produksi dapat ditingkatkan. Berbagai metode telah dikembangkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan keseimbangan lini, namun banyak yang masih sulit diterapkan di industri karena kompleksitas penyelesaiannya. Penelitian sebelumnya memperkenalkan Framework Precedence Matrix (FPM) berbasis spreadsheet sebagai pendekatan yang lebih sederhana, tetapi kajian mengenai metode ini masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja FPM pada data penelitian dan membandingkannya dengan hasil metode Rank Positional Weight (RPW). Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan jumlah station, Line Efficiency (LE), dan Smoothness Index (SI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FPM menghasilkan kinerja yang lebih baik dengan 4 stasiun kerja, nilai LE sebesar 85,97%, dan nilai SI sebesar 1281,6 detik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa FPM berpotensi menjadi alternatif praktis untuk penyelesaian masalah keseimbangan lini di industri.
