Analisis Kelayakan Distribusi Karung Pupuk PP Woven Berdasarkan Parameter Max Force dan Break Force

Karung pupuk berbahan polypropylene woven (PP woven) berperan penting dalam menjaga kualitas produk selama proses distribusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kelayakan distribusi karung pupuk PP woven berdasarkan parameter Maximum Force dan Break Force serta mengidentifikasi bagian yang berpotensi mengalami kegagalan mekanik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen melalui pengujian tarik menggunakan Universal Testing Machine (UTM) Shimadzu AGS-X terhadap 19 spesimen yang terdiri atas 12 spesimen badan karung dan 7 spesimen jahitan karung. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, dan Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa badan karung memiliki nilai Maximum Force dan Break Force yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan jahitan karung. Hasil Independent Sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 pada kedua parameter, yang menandakan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara badan karung dan jahitan karung. Secara umum, karung PP woven layak digunakan untuk distribusi pupuk, namun kualitas jahitan perlu ditingkatkan untuk mengurangi risiko kegagalan mekanik selama distribusi.
