PERHITUNGAN DAYA MESIN PENCACAH SERBAGUNA KAPASITAS 200 KG/JAM

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi rendahnya efisiensi proses pencacahan rumput pada peternakan skala kecil hingga menengah yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kebutuhan daya mesin pencacah rumput serbaguna dengan kapasitas dua ratus kilogram per jam agar kinerja mesin optimal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan eksperimental melalui pengujian langsung serta analisis teknik berdasarkan perhitungan mekanika dan sistem transmisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan daya mesin dipengaruhi oleh kesesuaian antara kecepatan putar torsi dan sistem transmisi. Diperoleh kebutuhan daya total sekitar lima koma delapan kilowatt dengan putaran optimal sekitar tujuh ratus delapan puluh satu koma delapan rpm. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya analisis kebutuhan daya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keandalan mesin pencacah rumput.
