Desain dan Pengembangan APD Tangan untuk Pekerja pada Industri Kulit PT.XYZ

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan industri kulit yang memproduksi berbagai produk fesyen, seperti tas, sepatu, dan dompet. Proses produksinya dilakukan secara manual maupun otomatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya potensi kecelakaan akibat kerja (KAK) pada beberapa aktivitas produksi dengan tingkat risiko tingkat risiko sedang (level 3) dan tingkat risiko rendah (level 2). Risiko tertinggi ditemukan pada aktivitas pemotongan kulit manual menggunakan cutter dan proses embossing dengan mesin stamping. Sementara itu, aktivitas penyesetan kulit dan busa, pemotongan handbag menggunakan mesin pemotong strap, serta pemotongan kulit simetris menggunakan mesin hydraulic swing berada pada level risiko rendah. Salah satu penyebab potensi kecelakaan adalah tidak digunakannya APD tangan oleh pekerja. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perancangan APD sarung tangan menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan atribut prioritas APD meliputi perlindungan jari (77%), desain ergonomis (77%), kemudahan penggunaan (73%), sensitivitas sentuhan material (72%), dan bahan elastis (71%)
