Abstract

The independent curriculum applies several learning models, one of which is the Problem Based Learning learning model. Problem based learning is a model that is applied in the learning process. The selection of the PBL model in this study was based on PLP observations and the results of the research that had been carried out. This research used the observation method, namely a data collection technique carried out through an observation, accompanied by records of the condition or behavior of the target object. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it is found that in the process of implementing the activities of teachers and students are not in accordance with the steps contained in the Problem Based Learning learning model and cannot be said to be optimal. From this description, the researcher will conduct research with the aim of describing teacher and student activities during the learning process using the Problem Based Learning model.
