Abstract

Dalam sebuah kehidupan kita semua tentunya tidak luput dari yang namanya sandang, papan, serta pangan. Pangan yang dimaksud ini ialah sesuatu yang bisa dimakan, contohnya makanan kecil yaitu sebuah kerupuk. Kerupuk sendiri adalah makanan olahan yang terbuat dari bahan tepung singkong yang ditambahkan beberapa campuran bumbu. Dalam proses pembuatannya dibutuhkan alat atau mesin yang digunakan untuk produksi. Mesin pemotong lontongan salah satunya, mesin yang dapat membantu memotong dan mengiris sesuai ketebalan yang diinginkan oleh produsen. Sebelumnya telah terjadi sebuah kendala pada mesin pemotong lontongan ini, dari segi kegunaan dirasa kurang maksimal. Kemudian perancang melakukan redesign di bagian khususnya pengunci. Diubah dari model lama yang menggunakan ulir ke konsep yang baru memakai komponen per agar lebih efektif,efisien, dan tentunya optimal saat digunakan produksi kembali.
