Implementasi Web Profil Sekolah Menggunakan Hosting Gratis

Lembaga pendidikan formal seperti sekolah dasar memerlukan sebuah media informasi yang dapat difungsikan diantaranya untuk membangun reputasi, dan penyampaian informasi kepada masyarakat, serta sebagai media untuk mempublikasikan prestasi sekolah. Peran web profil menjadi sangat penting di era digitalisasi saat ini, hal tersebut semakin diperkuat dengan fenomena beberapa sekolah dasar yang sudah tutup atau regrouping dikarenakan kurangnya jumlah murid, dan hal lain bisa disebabkan kurangnya upaya sekolah dalam mempublikasikan informasi sekolahnya kepada masyarakat. Sehingga pencitraan publik yang dibangun melalui web profil oleh pihak sekolah agar mendapatkan kepercayaan publik menjadi sangat penting demi keberlangsungan instansi sekolah tersebut agar tetap bisa berkompetisi dengan sekolah lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan web profil sekolah dengan menggunakan layanan hosting gratis. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka dan observasi. Studi lapangan dengan melakukan pengamatan, dan studi pustaka dengan melakukan penelitian kepustakaan yang sesuai dengan masalah yang diteliti oleh penulis. Hasil penelitian berupa implementasi web profil sekolah dengan pemanfaatan layanan hosting gratis sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyampaikan beragam informasi utamanya mengenai kegiatan akademik sekolah, sekaligus membangun pencitraan publik melalui digitalisasi.
