Digital Support for Academic Writing; Best Practice of Technology Integration In ELT

Abstract
This paper presents best practice of technology integration in English Language Teaching (ELT) classroom, particularly in academic writing course. This paper will briefly introduce some application and digital technology that assist the academic writing process. It specifically describes a technology-based writing instruction and focuses on how to teach academic writing to students. This is followed by detailed stages of using the application, including (1) in the pre-writing stage, publish or perish and dimensions used to determine the research theme and research gap and to find related sources; (2) in the whilst-writing process, researchers can access https://sinta.kemdikbud.go.id/ to find the journal destination for publication and get the article template of the journal, VOSviewer software to find the research trends and gaps, NVivo 12 to review the literature and analyze the qualitative data, SPSS to analyze the quantitative data, also Mendeley and Grammarly to assist writing; (3) in the post-writing process, researchers and writers need to do plagiarism check through Turnitin application. Finally, all the application are just a tool or medium to assist and support the writing process, not to replace the writer's task of completing his writing
