The Role of Self-Confidence and Interpersonal Communication Skills in Improving Peer Interactions Among High School Students

This study aims to understand the importance of self-confidence and interpersonal communication skills in improving peer interactions in high school students through a literature review. The study used a qualitative method with a library research approach sourced from relevant journals, books, and scientific articles. The results of the study indicate that good self-confidence and interpersonal communication skills can help students be more active in socializing, adapt easily, and be able to build positive social relationships with peers. Conversely, low self-confidence and communication skills can hinder students' social interactions in the school environment. Thus, self-confidence and interpersonal communication skills play an important role in supporting the creation of good peer interactions in high school students
