Perancangan Aplikasi Smart Transportation Tracking Bus Sekolah di Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk Berbasis Android

Bus sekolah merupakan salah satu alat transportasi yang digunakan untuk mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan untuk para pelajar dan juga dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi polusi yang sekarang semakin buruk. Tetapi untuk penggunaan bus sekolah sendiri masih kurang diminati karena fasilitas dan armada yang kurang memadai. Armada yang kurang memadai menyebabkan kurangnya efisiensi untuk para pelajar sehingga menyebabkan keterlambatan masuk sekolah untuk para pelajar. Penelitian ini dibuat bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan aplikasi tracking bus sekolah di daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk pada platform Android. Perancangan aplikasi ini menggunakan tiga diagram Unified Modeling Language (UML) antara lain use case diagram, activity diagram dan class diagram untuk menggambarkan aplikasi yang akan dibuat. Aplikasi yang dibuat dirancang untuk memudahkan para pelajar untuk melihat informasi bus sekolah antara lain rute bus sekolah, posisi bus sekolah, lokasi halte, serta dapat memberikan informasi tentang estimasi waktu kedatangan bus dan dapat memberikan informasi keadaan bus dalam kondisi penuh penumpang atau tidak.
