Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Mobile Berbasis Android Terhadap Pemetaan Tempat Wisata di Kota Kediri

Sektor Pariwisata adalah salah satu penunjang ekonomi di suatu daerah termasuk di suatu kota. Kota Kediri adalah salah satu kota di daerah Jawa Timur yang mempunyai banyak tempat wisata dan banyak wisatawan dari dalam maupun luar kota yang datang mengunjungi beberapa lokasi yang ada. Perkembangan sektor pariwisata seharusnya juga dibarengi dengan pengembangan teknologi informasi. Salah satu bentuk teknologi pengembangan adalah smartphone dengan basis Sistem Operasi Android yang paling populer. Bagi masyarakat luas, penggunaan smartphone tentu tak lepas dari kegiatan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah Aplikasi Smart Branding Kota Kediri yang menampilkan destinasi wisata berdasarkan Kategori Wilayah dan Kategori Wisata. Pada aplikasi ini menyediakan informasi terkait objek wisata serta media gambar dan fasilitas petunjuk arah yang langsung terhubung ke Google Maps untuk memudahkan pengguna menuju ke lokasi wisata. Selain itu terdapat pula fitur penambah tempat wisata dan menu chat untuk interaksi antar pengguna dalam aplikasi.
